Granddaughters

As the proud grandfather (pappa) of two wonderful and beautiful granddaughters I would like to share an observation. I seem to be more in tune with the nuances of their physical and mental development--I must have been too busy to notice such things with my own kids--a shame. Or maybe it was because I had two sons and no girls. Girls are different in such a profound and wonderful way. Or maybe it is because I now appreciate what is important in this life. Whatever the reason I am glad for this opportunity at joy and wonder.
